Promotes Longtime YMCA Leader and Vice President of Operations to CEO
Randolph, NJ-1/9/26 — The West Morris Area YMCA has named Hilary Collins as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 10, 2026. Selected by the Y’s Board of Directors, after a nationwide search, Hilary will succeed Kathy Fisher, who will step down on January 9, 2026, after years of dedicated service to the organization. In her new role, Hilary will be responsible for leading the West Morris Area YMCA’s strategic direction and goals. Having most recently served as the YMCA’s Vice President of Operations, Hilary brings deep institutional knowledge and a strong connection to the organization’s mission, staff, and community.
“As we honor Kathy Fisher’s remarkable legacy, we are excited to welcome Hilary as our next CEO,” said Jennifer Begraft, Chief Volunteer Officer. “Her passion for strengthening communities and her proven leadership will ensure that the West Morris Area YMCA continues to thrive.”
Begraft added, “Hilary brings a deep commitment to the Y’s mission and a clear vision for our future. Her leadership style, experience, and heart for community make her the right person to guide the West Morris Area YMCA into its next chapter.” “I am honored to step into this role and continue serving the West Morris Area YMCA,” said Hilary. “The Y has played an important role in my life and career, and I’m excited to build on the strong foundation already in place alongside our dedicated staff, volunteers, and community partners.”
Hilary brings more than 20 years of YMCA experience to the role and has served as Vice President of Operations at the West Morris Area YMCA for the past year. Her strong background in staff leadership, operations, and community engagement, combined with her deep understanding of the Y’s culture and mission, made her an outstanding candidate and the ideal choice to serve as CEO.
